5 WORDS TO DESCRIBE YOUR CRICKET STYLE: All the gear, no idea.
MOST MEMORABLE DORCHESTER MOMENT: 2 champagne moment wins in recent seasons, and Benno falling over at that Colliery place a few years ago. Still brings tears to my eyes.
FAMOUS PLAYER YOU MOST RELATE TO: Judging by his attitude to pies and the consuming thereof, Darren Lehmann. Sadly not due to the similarity in our batting ability.
FIXTURE LOOKING FORWARD TO MOST: Any that I’m fit enough to play in and get selected for.
FAVOURITE PLACE PLAYED EVER: Clumber Park. Dunno why. Perhaps because it’s the only place where random people actually make an effort to watch us, like we know what we’re doing. Or Breedon village green when I was dead young.
FAVOURITE MUSIC: In the car currently I have the Holdsteady, Kaiser Chiefs, Indigo Girls, AC/DC, Laura Veirs and Arcade Fire. That may give you an idea. Or not, to be fair.
FAVOURITE FEMALE: Doris excepted, Amanda Redman, Suzi Perry, and/or Stephanie Flanders. With a side order of Liza Tarbuck and Claire Goose.
SOMETHING YOU’RE GOOD AT THAT PEOPLE DON’T KNOW: Tricky. I’m struggling to think of something I’m good at that people do know about, let alone don’t. I can’t wait to see Briars’ answer to this one. Hang on, I’ve thought of one. Putting up Ikea furniture.
YOUR BEST STRESS RELIEVER: A big long bath with a good book or a walk on Shandwick beach with Bella the dog.
YOUR IDEAL JOB: I’m in it. Tragic, isn’t it? Fantasy job wise, MotoGP, WSB, BSB and ice hockey reporter for a paper. That should keep me quiet.
ONE THING YOU WOULD CHANGE ABOUT YOURSELF: Propensity to annihilate pizza, chocolate, cake, wine and beer like my life depends on it.
