Being an old school traditionalist, I've never really got into one day cricket.
However, the recent revival of fortunes for the national team and some excitement in Twenty20 makes one realise that it's not only us ex-public schoolboys who enjoy the game.
Therefore, I wonder if you could explainthe Duckworth Lewis method? Is it a form of contraception, perhaps? Or some new-fangled invention? What exactly does it offer our damn fine game?
By the way, are you the same Udder who was my fag at Minehead College? The onewith rather a penchant for melon calypso?
